"We contacted Heather as we’d heard about her technical and sustainable background. We enlisted her help in evaluating our building plans and looking at areas where we could find ‘quick wins’ to make our alterations more energy efficient, comfortable and future-proof.
Heather helped us establish the best way to make the project ‘heat pump ready’ and advised on technical aspects such as glazing standards, ventilation, insulation values – particularly in the loft area which can often be too hot in the summer and cold in the winter – and the VAT savings that may be achievable depending on which measures we implemented.
