Evergreen Design Studio is an architectural practice based in North Hertfordshire specialising in collaborative design to create inspirational spaces that work around the user, are filled with light and minimise environmental impact and energy bills.

We are passionate about low energy design and specialise in both new build dwellings and retrofitting existing properties to not only improve their energy efficiency and living environment, but also to optimise their plan and functionality for the end user to realise their full potential.

We have extensive experience in providing design solutions and offer concept design packages, providing an initial set of designs for your property and planning application services to help you get through the planning process with your local council.

Heather is a Certified Passivhaus Designer and an AECB CarbonLite™ Retrofit Foundation Graduate. As such, we have extensive experience in providing sustainable architectural designss and offer a number of options for Passivhaus, sustainable and low energy design as well as advice for homeowners on ‘quick wins’ to make your property as comfortable, energy efficient and wallet-friendly as possible. 

We also offer the full design service covering all RIBA Stages of Work from initial concept design through to contract administration on site. We limit the number of full service projects we undertake each year to ensure that our clients get the best possible service.
